FOR ALL RODEOS 1ST SANCTIONED WHIPPOORWILL RODEO

**ALL RODEO CONTESTANTS WILL BE CHARGED A $10.00 AWARDS FEE PER CONTESTANT PER RODEO IN ADDITION TO THEIR ENTRY FEES ($5.00 WRC AWARDS FEE PER CONTESTANT PER RODEO IF IT IS  1ST  SANCATIONED NCPRA)

**ALL RODEO CONTESTANTS WILL BE CHARGED A $5.00 ENTRY SYSTEM FEE PER ENTRY IN ADDITION TO THEIR ENTRY FEES​

** Entry fees, added money, and any other event details will be posted on our website prior to each rodeo.​

** Stock will be drawn for timed events & rough stock.

**A Rope Barrier will be used in the Breakaway, Steer Wrestling, Tie-Down Roping, & Team Roping.

** WESTERN ATTIRE IS MANDATORY - For all contestants & anyone helping in the arena or on the back of the bucking chutes you must be in western attire!!​​​​

**Contestants please be checked in an hour prior to the rodeo performance!!!

​**If you are not able to compete and do not draw out 24 hours prior to the rodeo performance you are still responsible for ALL entry fees, award fees, and entry system fees, these fees must be paid before being able to enter or compete again.

TRUE AMERICAN COWBOY TOUR 

Contestants must compete & pay entry fees at 10 rodeos per event to qualify for 2025 Whippoorwill Rodeo year end awards. Only money won in an event will count for that event, you may not combine event earnings.  The contestant with the most money won in an event at the end of the 2025 season will be the event Champion.

YEAR END HIGH MONEY WINNER- ALL AROUND - The contestant with the most money won in 2 or more events at the end of the 2025 season will be the 2025 Whippoorwill Rodeo All Around Champion. To be eligible for the all around the contestant must enter and pay fees at 10 rodeos in 1 or more events, and must win money in 2 or more events. The Team Roping will count as 1 event for the all around.

WESTERN NIGHTS & CARNIVAL LIGHTS SERIES

Contestants must compete & pay entry fees at 8 out of the 9 rodeos per event of the Western Nights & Carnival Lights Series – July 10th – July 31st, 2025 to qualify for the Western Nights & Carnival Lights Series awards.

Albion, IL will count for 1 rodeo count in the series, unless otherwise noted. Only money won in an event will count for that event in the series you may not combine event earnings.   The contestant with the most money won in an event at the end of the Western Nights & Carnival Lights Series will be the event Champion.

 

**** ​If any bonus money is paid out it will NOT count towards year end standings or the series standings.

NCPRA 

The Whippoorwill Rodeo - 2025 True American Cowboy Tour will be co-sanctioned with the NCPRA- National Cowboy Pro Rodeo Association.  The NCPRA Membership/Permit is optional for our 2025 rodeo season when the NCPRA is second sanctioned. All first sanctioned NCPRA rodeos will require a non-member permit fee or membership to compete. If you are interested in becoming a NCPRA member, please visit www.ncprarodeo.com to buy your membership card to qualify for the NCPRA Finals, please see new qualification requirements to the NCPRA Finals.  The Whippoorwill Rodeo - 2025 True American Cowboy Tour will be 2nd sanctioned NCPRA unless otherwise noted and will count for 1/2 rodeo towards the NCPRA Finals unless otherwise noted. Any rodeos first sanctioned NCPRA will count for 1 rodeo towards NCPRA Finals. For all NCPRA details please visit www.ncprarodeo.com
